1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. What the App Provides

The App may provide features such as:

• Document scanning and PDF creation
• PDF editing, merging, splitting, compression, and export tools
• Image tools and related document utilities
• Document organization and file management
• Secure vault and local privacy features
• Optional sign-in, backup, restore, and other account-connected tools

Features may vary by version, device capability, Android version, region, pricing plan, or third-party service availability.

3. App License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or internal lawful use on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and any applicable app store rules.

4. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the files, data, text, images, and content that you create, import, store, share, or export through the App.
• You must maintain your own backups for important data.
• You must keep your device and any vault password, PIN, biometric settings, recovery details, or sign-in access secure.
• You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your content, your exports, and your use of the App.
• You are responsible for reviewing documents before sharing, printing, or relying on them.

5. Secure Vault

The App may include a secure vault or related privacy features to help protect your files locally on your device. These protections are intended to improve privacy, but they depend on correct setup, your device security, and the credentials you choose.

• You are responsible for remembering your vault password, PIN, or recovery details.
• If you forget your credentials or lose access to your device, recovery may not be possible.
• We do not guarantee recovery of inaccessible protected vault content.

6. Backup and Third-Party Services

The App may offer optional backup, restore, sign-in, cloud-connected, analytics, billing, ad, or other features that depend on third-party services such as Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google Drive, AdMob, Firebase, or similar providers.

• Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and availability.
• We are not responsible for failures, interruptions, account issues, delays, or data loss caused by third-party services.
• Cloud backup and restore features may depend on your account status, device state, permissions, network quality, and third-party service behavior.

7. Ads and Purchases

Advertisements

The free version of the App may display advertisements from third-party ad providers. We do not control every ad shown, and we are not responsible for third-party advertising content, claims, or linked sites.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some features may require payment, subscription, or a premium upgrade. Payments are processed through the relevant app store or payment provider, such as Google Play. We do not store your full card or payment details.

• Prices, features, plans, and availability may change.
• Billing, refunds, renewals, and purchase management may also be subject to Google Play or other platform rules.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, or deceptive activity.
• Upload, store, or distribute content that violates law or the rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with, damage, disable, overburden, or misuse the App or related services.
• Bypass, probe, or undermine security, licensing, payment, vault, or anti-abuse mechanisms.
• Copy, resell, redistribute, or exploit the App except where applicable law expressly allows it.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, branding, design, interface elements, text, graphics, logos, and related content, is owned by or licensed to Lihenium Studio and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• You may not remove ownership notices, branding, or legal notices from the App.
• You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit protected parts of the App except as permitted by law or by our written permission.

10. Availability and Updates

We may add, remove, suspend, improve, limit, or modify features, plans, pricing, technical requirements, or supported workflows at any time. We do not guarantee that the App or any feature will always remain available.

• The App may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, device issues, platform restrictions, bugs, or third-party service interruptions.
• Some features may stop working on older devices, older Android versions, modified systems, or unsupported environments.

11. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not make guarantees or warranties that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly secure, or suitable for every purpose, device, workflow, or legal requirement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lihenium Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or device use arising out of or related to your use of the App.

This includes, without limitation, losses arising from deleted files, inaccessible vault content, failed backups, failed restores, purchase issues, third-party service interruptions, ads, crashes, unsupported devices, or user error.

13. Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the App or certain features if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, abused the App, created risk for users or services, or where required by law, platform policy, or technical necessity.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it or discontinuing access.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
